Matt did 25 miles again. It was kind of nice going through civilization since it has been a while and Flagstaff seems to be such an eco-friendly place full of nice faces. We actually met someone at the campsite, from the U.K. who said she had talked to us (when we were lost ) about directions at the Grand Canyon. She was really nice, gave us ten dollars, and her husband pulled up and said ” oh is she giving my money away again?” She was a riot. After going through historic Flagstaff it was nice to be surrounded by lush green vegetation again in the forest. The cars fly there and we had to cross three lanes of a highway but we made it ! Stayed at the same KOA again at night. Went to La Fonda’s for some real good Mexican food (suggested by Scarletts friend) Two dollar margaritas in plastic cups, soapapillas, and blue corn tacos. Â Yummy in my tummy !
