Alright so we are finally 2 miles away from outside of town. There are all these small houses/huts along the side here , FINALLY we can see clues of life. Some guy told Ron that squatters live in them and that they were built as part of the railroad workers back in the day and they just never tore them down. We saw two wild coyotes today and one cool plane taking off from this tiny tinny airport. It is Matt’s last 25 mile day ! The road was pretty rough, full of pot holes and such . Like the song Sublime sings, F 29 Palms ! I will be glad to leave it tommarow.
