Desert Hot Springs reach 109 today ! It was HOT HOT HOT. Luckily the campground we stayed at made it totally worth it . For starters, the folks remembered us from last time and gave us a nice discount. Always helps :) They are one of the few RV Parks that has mineral springs water in their pool and hot tub ! After 4-5 hours it the pool we were full out prunes. They say the water heals you . I got wonderful recipe ideas from the chef, one of the managers there in the pool . Chicken enchiladas, chicken and shrimp eggrolls, corn fritters, peanut butter cookies, coleslaw, ribs, and peas and baus. That made our stay worth it alone ! Then we got to watch the sunset from the cactus garden which has all different species of cactus. It was Daisy’s birthday she is 9 ! We stayed outside until 10 at night just because everyone was so friendly. Then the manager brought Matt over fresh peanut cookies (secret recipe i will never tell ) and banana bread. 10 minutes in the freezer and we killed a whole plate in about 5 minutes. Yummy!
