Surrounded by gigantic Ponderosa Pines, log cabins, horses, chickens, and cows. The San Bernadino National Forest is full of gorgeous warm colors with all kinds of trees. Mostly downhill today but we did hit one little hill at the end. The pinecones here are larger than life, they look fake they are so big. They make great fire starters though.
Last night we made a fire while a woodpecker hung out overhead and a pinecone came flying down literally inches away from him.
