Alrighty so are you ready ? Today was the first day . It was strenuous. We started in Lynn around 11 AM and then finally departed from Red Rock Park in Lynn Mass. We then went to Saugus, Malden , Revere, Sommerville, Boston , and Watertown. So roughly 20 miles and Matt was a trooper. As for me , I probably have not seriously rode a bike in over 4 years and after about 20 miles of bike riding, my butt feels like it is on fire. I had a little scare with the red light turning off after the camera but it turns out it was all good. We used Jay Duchin’s magical invention of the sun shade which also temporarily helped as a light rain shade (since i forgot the actual light rain shade in the rv) . So for the first day it was Ron, Matt, Dave (who is writting a book , i think?), and Matts sister and her boyfriend ( i think ?).
We had the perfect ending at Country Kitchen Buffet. Fried chicken and ice cream sundaes perfect. Then Danielle picked us all up in the RV , all 7 people in the RV so I ended up sitting in Matts extra wheelchair haha. Backwards on the ride home yay. Then back to the RV where Dave took it to the hotel he is staying at tonight, Danielles staying at her mothers, and I am sleeping at Matts place, with Ron and Matt. The dogs are at Rons house tongiht. .I took my first shower in a role in place and dont tell anyone but I forgot my shampoo in the rv so I used pet shampoo for the dogs I suppose. Much more to come but now I am uploading , enjoying a corona, and then passing out into a deep deep sleep all to do it again tommarow ! cant wait !
